Friend In Need  COVID-19 Assistance Program


Tell us about a friend or family that you would like to nominate for our Friend in Need COVID-19 Assistance Program. Through this program, recipients may receive assistance with items including, but not limited to, groceries, gas, household items, clothing, utility payments, mortgage/rent payments, and/or child-care payments. Nominees and recipients will be kept confidential. If selected, recipients must consent to receiving assistance. 


  1. The nominee(s) must reside in Marquette County.

  2. The nominee(s) must be facing financial hardship due to COVID-19.


  1. What if I do not know all of the answers to the questions on the nomination form?

    1. Please complete the form to the best of your ability for the friend or family that you are nominating. We will get any remaining information directly from the friend or family if they are chosen as a recipient.

  2. I need help for myself or my own family. Can I nominate myself?

    1. We ask that you do not nominate yourself or your own family.

  3. How will the friend or family know if they are chosen?

    1. We will contact the friend or family directly if they are a chosen recipient.

  4. If I nominate a friend or family, will I remain anonymous?

    1. Yes, your identity will remain anonymous and will not be told to the recipient unless directed otherwise by you.

DEADLINE: Forms must be postmarked by April 30, 2021. Recipients will be chosen by May 15, 2021.
